We are Kinley and Lauren, the President and Vice President of Gals Need Pals. Kinley is a 3rd grade teacher whose most promising friend prospects are under the age of 10 and still learning how to do fractions. Lauren is a fashion influencer who works from home and gets most of her social interactions by talking to a camera. The two of us met in October of 2022 through Gals Need Pals and had an instant connection. It wasn’t until the Spring when we joined forces to make Gals Need Pals as big as possible. The goal of the group since it’s inception has been - how the hell do you make friends as an adult?
This overwhelming question is what brought Kinley and the original founder Mallory to the crazy idea of organizing social events specifically catered to women in need of a friendship building community. How many times have you drunkenly made friends in the bathroom of a bar, but never had the opportunity to follow up and really “cement” the friendship? We hope our events help you to meet women in your area who are actively open to finding some amazing gal pals. We’d love to see you at one of our events soon, and can’t wait to meet you!
